2. C16 timber framed house of 2 storeys, 3 windows, with 2 smaller lights inserted. High pitched tiled roof with right ridge stack. 1st floor exposed close-set timbers with plaster filling. Joists ends exposed but former jettied front now brought forward on ground floor which is rebuilt in a mixture of brick and stone set in mortar. Old plinth of random rubble. Small modern casement on 1st floor Large, square paned modern shop windows on ground floor. Door has glazed panels with pointed Gothic heads.
