2. C16 or earlier timber-framed building, formerly 2 dwellings. Main garden front of 2 storeys, 5 windows. High pitched tiled roof, half hipped at right, renewed at left, with rebuilt ridge stack. 1st floor tile-hung, ground floor brick. Casement windows with bars, C19 and modern. Timber-framed porch with pent, tiled roof a modern addition. Inside an original small inglenook fireplace with barrel-roofed bread oven, and another larger inglenook. Old plank floors, old doors, much exposed timber including very heavy tie beams and posts with diagonal braces.
