2. First half of C17 timber framed building of 3 short bays, the right bay a little later, and with C20 extension. Old part of 2 storeys 3 windows. Red brick with segmental ground floor arches to simple leaded casements. Half hipped tiled roof with rebuilt end chimney. Modern gabled left wing in early C17 style. At back a lean-to probably of late C17. Inside simple chamfered beams and plates, but joists mostly renewed and ingle filled. Side-purlin roof; moderate scantlings throughout. Associated with the Tilyard family for more than 200 years.
