Designed by Derwent Wood ARA and standing on ornamental pedestal of Portland stone. Inscription reads - Major- General James Wolfe, Born at Westerham, January 2nd, 1727. Died at battle of Quebec September 13th, 1759. (2) Derwent Wood's statue of General Wolfe, 1910, lead statue on a bulgy stone base. Wolfe, in a cocked hat, awkwardly brandishes his sword. (3-4)
