2. At one time lived in by William Pitt while his home at Keston was being repaired. Painted brick elevations, masking C16 or earlier framed structure. 2 storeys with eaves with small moulded fillet under a bracketed gutter. Ridge tile roof with 2 end brick stacks. 2 leaded dormers with lattice casements. Front facade with painted brick plinth and supported by 2 projecting brick buttresses with tiled coping. Modern projecting hip tiled hood over door supported on carved brackets. C16 oak panelled door in oak frame (restored). To right projecting oriel bay window with mullions and transoms with lattice casements - tiled hood over supported on wooden angle brackets to left. 2 square paned leaded casements in recessed flat segmental arches. First floor. 3 sets of square paned leaded casements. 1 small leaded casement over door. East Side Elevation. Random stone with flint infilling and red brick dressing. Projecting stack. Brick gable end. West Side Elevation. Red brick. Numerous additions to rear including modern kitchen wing.
