2. C17 red brick building of 2 storeys, 2 windows. High pitched, tiled roof with end chimney at left. Pointed niches in walls, said to be for charcoal fires to warm espaliered peach trees. C19 casement windows, including one in Gothic style on east wall. Later turned into coachhouse with double doors at left. Inside a stout timber roof truss with tie beams and butt purlins; large open fireplace with bread oven, old floor bricks and weathevboarded inner partitions.
