2. Row of early C18 cottages, each 2 storeys and attic, 1 window. Half-hipped tiled mansard roof with 4 small, flat dormers. Walls rendered or roughcast. No 1 has leaded casement windows, No 2 square paned casements, Nos 3 and 4 sashes with glazing bars, all under shallow segmental arches. Rendered plinth. 6-panel doors under bracketed hoods.
Copthall Cottages, The Red Cow House and Nos 1 to 4 (consec) Wolfe Cottages form a group.
