Full Description
(TQ 51575619) Iron Age (Numidian) coin found A.D.1931 (1) A bronze coin of Masinissa, King of Numidia (c.240 - 149 B.C.) was found in March 1931 in some allotments. It is said to be in Sevenoaks Museum but could not be traced there. Publication evidently follows the Maidstone Museum 6" siting; it could not be confirmed. A collector's piece ? (2)
