The following text is from the original listed building designation:
KNOCKHOLT BURLINGS 1, 5280 Burlings Tune (West Side) Franklow TQ 45 NE 41/606 II GV 2. Late Cl8 1-story, double-span cottage. 3 windows. Moderately low pitched, tiled roof. Flush flint rubble walls with red brick alternating block quoins and window Jambs and shallow segmental gauged brick arches to sash windows with glazing bars. 4-panel door (the 2 - upper panels glazed) in later wood porch.
Franklow, Buildings Cottage, and the outhouse and wall to Burlings Cottage, form a group.
