HEVER HEVER 1. 5280 Hever Station Newhouse Farmhouse TQ 44 SE 53/529 II GV 2. C17 or earlier house with C19 refacing. 2 stories, 4 windows. Half hipped tiled roof with rebuilt ridge stack. Fancy tile hung lst floor. Painted brick ground floor. Red brick plinth with diaper of blue headers. Small modern leaded casements. Modern door under hipped, tiled hood. Inside visible stout chamfered beams and restored inglenook. Timber framed lean-to at left.
Newhouse Farmhouse, the Oast group the Barn and the Shed form a group.
