The following text is from the original listed building designation:
EYNSFORD STATION ROAD 1. 5280 (south-east side) Yew Tree Cottage and Yew Cottage (formerly listed as Nos 1 and 2 Yew Tree TQ 5565 11/82 1.6.67 Cottages) II 2. Mid C18 pair 2 storeys and attics red brick. Tiled roof with moulded wooden eaves cornice. One central and 2 external brick chimneystacks. Stringcourse of red brick and grey headers. Four windows and 4 dormers. Wide glazing bars intact. Doorcases with flat hoods on brackets and doors of 6 moulded and fielded panels.
