Monument record TQ 87 NW 8 - Romano-British cremation burials, Slough Fort, Allhallows-on-Sea
Summary
Romano-British cremation burials were found during the construction of Slough fort in c.1891. The finds included a cinerary urn containing calcined human bones, an Upchurch vase, 4 vases of black ware, a large red urn, 2 black paterae, a Samian patera and a clay stopper or plug.
