Monument record TQ 87 NW 12 - Site of a 16th century beacon, Allhallows

Summary

A Beacon at 'Allhallowes' is shown on Lambarde's 'Carde' of c.1570 showing the 52 Beacon sites in Kent. This system dropped out of use after 1640, however part of this Beacon is shown on the Tithe Map of 1839. Nothing remains at the site today.
