The following text is from the original listed building designation:
HIGH STREET 1. 1614 (West Side) Nos 43 and 45 TQ 5354/1/38 II 2. Early C19. 2 storeys. Stucco. Shop fronts on ground floor. 4 widely spaced sash windows in moulded exposed frames on first floor. Stucco band above first floor windows. Eaves and gutter. Hipped roof. No 43 with tile roof and 2 tiled gable dormers. No 45 with slate roof and one gable and one flat-roofed leaded dormer.
