The following text is from the original listed building designation:
1. 5280 BRASTED BRASTED High Street (North Side) Nos 1 to 6 (consec) (White Hart Cottages) TQ 4755 2/20

2. Row of C19 cottages incorporating older framed, structures. 2 storeys, 11 windows in all. High pitched, hipped tiled roof. Ornamental tile hanging on lst floor. Projecting central gable with overhanging 1st floor. Rendered ground floor with brick and stone plinths. Windows mostly C19 3-light casements, including 4 ground floor oriels with tiled hoods. Boarded doors under small pent tiled hoods (Nos 1 and 6 now half glazed). Side and rear walls show older rubble masonry. 2 end projecting diagonal chimneys and 2 ridge stacks. Gabled dormer to No 2.
