1. 1449 HIGH STREET (North West Side)
Rome House TR 0624 1/4 3.8.71 II GV
Early C19. 2 parallel ranges. 2 storeys and attics brown brick. 2 dormers Brick modillion eaves cornice, the bricks inserted diagonally with the points protruding. 5 sashes with glazing bars missing, 2 inserted Neo-Georgian bows on the ground floor. Large late C19 porch with iron columns. The side elevation is partly of stone rubble with flint galleting.
Rome House and stable building of Rome House form a group.
