4/57 The Ship Inn 9.6.59 GV II
Inn. Early C18 with later alterations. Painted brick with plain tile roof. Left gable end tile-hung. Main range with additions either end in same style and later parallel rear range to left. 2 storey, and attics. Brick plinth, much higher to earlier central section. Moulded wood eaves cornice. Hipped roof. Rear stack to left and right. 4 hipped dormers and central skylight. Regular 5-window front of 6-pane glazing bar sashes in open boxes, central 3 to main range and one beyond straight-joint at either end. Ground floor windows have segmental relieving arches. Central C20 glazed door behind C20 glazed porch. Interior not inspected.
