The following text is from the original listed building designation:
1. 5281 VICARAGE ROAD SANDGATE Endcliffe House TR 2035 SE 7/21 II GV 2. Circa 1840. 2 storeys stuccoed. Cornice above each floor and parapet above the lst floor. 4 windows in all. The south half of the front has a curved bay containing 2 windows on both floors. The north half has a similar bay on the ground floor only. Glazing bars missing. Venetian shutters.
Endcliffe House, St Paul's Vicarage and Vicarage Cottage. Sea lady and East Cliff House form a group with Spade House, Radnor Cliff Crescent.
