The following text is from the original listed building designation:
1. 5281 DOVER ROAD FOLKESTONE The Martello Public House TR 2336 SW 3/95 II 2. Early C19. 2 storeys stuccoed. Hipped tiled roof partly renewed. Parapet and dropped cornice. Moulded stringcourse. 5 sashes with glazing bars intact to front elevation. The 2 sashes to the left are in a recessed wing, 3 doors with rectangular fanlights including one on the rounded corner. 1 to 2 sashes on the right side elevation.
