Full Description

The following text is from the original listed building designation:
HIGH STREET 1. 1355 (North-West Side) No 62 (Vine House) and No 64 (Vine Cottage) (Formerly listed as Vine House) TR 0420 NW 1/11 28.11.50. II 2. The original portion is C17 with the addition of 1 window bay at the south end in the late C18 or early C19. 2 storeys. The original portion is of red brick and grey headers the additional portion all of red brick. Tiled roof. 3 windows. Casement window in the original portion but the doorcase which is in this part of the house, in a moulded architrave surround with flat hood over supported on brackets, dates from the addition. Sash windows with the glazing bars intact in the addition. The north east wing which forms the L. consists of the offices and has 1 storey and attic, 2 windows and 1 dormer. It is of red brick and grey headers like the original portion.
