The following text is from the original listed building designation:
NEW STREET 1. 1355 (North-West Side) Nos 13 to 19 (odd) (Turks' Cottages) TR 0420 NW 1/40 II GV
2. 4 cottages of which the second one is called "The Cottage". A C17 or earlier range except for No 13 which is C19. 2 storeys painted brick. Tiled roof. 8 casement windows. Doorcases with modern hipped tiled hoods over. Nos 9 to 19 (odd) form a group.
