The following text is from the original listed building designation:
STATION ROAD 1. 1355 (South-East Side) No 16 (Star Public House) TR 0421 SW 3/27 28.11.50. II GV 2. A timber-framed building, C17 or earlier. 2 storeys painted brick. Tiled roof. 4 casement windows. 2 doorcases in moulded architrave surrounds with pediments over supported on consoles. The rear elevation slopes to 1 storey and has 2 gables. No 16 Star Public House) and No 18 form a group.
