II                         GV 2. A timber-framed building, C17 or earlier.  2 storeys painted brick.  Tiled roof.  4 casement windows.  2 doorcases in moulded architrave surrounds with pediments over supported on consoles. The rear elevation slopes to 1 storey and has 2 gables. No 16 Star Public House) and No 18 form a group.
