The following text is from the original listed building designation:

2. A timber-framed building refronted in the C18. 2 storeys. Painted brick facade. Tiled roof and parapet. 7 sashes with architraves over but glazing bars missing. 2 doorcases, one with a flat hood over supported on iron brackets and a door of 8 fielded panels. The other doorcase has had modern alterations, Panelled interior. Passage through the building at its North East end, with timber-framing visible in the West wall of this.
Nos 27 to 43 (odd) form a group.
