2. A timber-framed building refronted in the early C19.  2 storeys, the front is of white brick and the side elevation is pebbledashed on the ground floor and tile-hung above.  Tiled roof and parapet,  3 sashes facing South East and 3 sashes facing South West with glazing bars missing.  Doorcase with pilasters, pediment, semi-circular fanlight and 6 panel door.  Lunette window on 1st floor over it.
Nos 38 & 40, St John's Priory, Nos 46 & 48 form a group.
