(1) Kiln debris is visible in the eroded sea bank at TQ 85907129, and the foreshore below is littered with wasters. There is a strong concentration of wasters and oyster shells a few metres to the S.E. at TQ 85937127. There is nothing to be seen at the position given by Maidstone Museum which is an approximate siting only.
