Full Description

The following text is from the original listed building designation:
1. 5281 CHURCH STREET (East Side) FOLKESTONE Former Municipal Offices TR 2235 NE 1/4 II 2. At one time the Municipal Offices. Late C18 to early Cl9. 2 storeys red brick with grey headers on a stone base. Original portion of 3 windows. Portion, also of 3 windows, added at the north end. Brick eaves cornice. Sashes with verticals only and two 3 light sashes to the earlier portion. Doorcase with pilasters and fanlight and 6 panelled moulded door with narrow lights on either side of it. Good staircase with 2 turned balusters to each tread and scrolled tread ends.
