The following text is from the original listed building designation:
1. 5281 THE OLD HIGH STREET (North Side) FOLKESTONE No 55 TR 2336 SW 3/128 II GV 2. Early Cl9. 3 storeys painted brick. Modillion cornice. 2 sashes with glazing bars intact to 2nd floor. Verticals only to lst floor, set in moulded wooden architraves. Later shopfront.
Nos 53 to 59 (odd) form a group.
