II
House. C18, possibly with C17 core. Painted brick, possibly with timber-framed core. Plain tile roof. Double depth. 2 storeys on brick plinth. Plat band. Hipped roof, hips returning. Gable end stack to right. 2 ridge stacks flanking front door. Irregular fenestration of 4 recessed windows with segmental heads; one 3-light casement to left and three 2-light horizontally-sliding sashes. 16-pane sashes to ground floor with segmental heads. Ribbed door with rectangular fanlight under second window from left. Interior not inspected but said to contain staircase with decorative painted iron balusters. Called Arpinge Farm on o.s. map.
