Demolished 2001

Evaluation undertaken by Canterbury Archaeological Trust in 2004 prior to development. Remains of post-medieval garden features and a timber barn were found. Constructed in 1718, the barn measured 28.57m x 8.99m, and took the form of a 5-bay, aisled, timber structure on dwarf walls of brick and ragstone. The aisles were 2m wide around both sides and both ends. There was a centrally-located door in either side (i.e. opposite one another). The barn was demolished in 2001. (2)
