Full Description

The following text is from the original listed building designation:
1. 5281 SANDGATE ROAD (North West Side) FOLKESTONE Ruins of Christchurch TR 2235 NW 5/250 II 2. Built 1850-1 by Sydney Smith. Only the tower now remains, the rest of the church having been hit by a bomb during the Second World War. 4 stages. Built of stone rubble. Buttresses. Crockets and stone gargoyles to parapet.
