House row. Late C18 or early C19 with slightly later addition to left. Timber framed on painted brick semi-basement. Front elevation weather- boarded, left gable end brick on ground floor, tile hung above. Plain tile roof. 2 storeys, semi-basement and attic. Brick end stacks and brick ridge stack towards left end. Two C20 skylights. Irregular 4-window front of one sash to Western Cottage and regular 3-window front of two 16-pane glazing bar sashes and one "central" 2-pane sash to Western House. Boarded door to Western Cottage up 3 steps beneath ridge stack, and boarded door with vertical light under flat hood up 3 steps off-centre to right of whole row, but central to Western House. Short rear wing to left and rear lean-to. Interior not inspected.
