Findspot record TQ 87 SW 4 - Roman jar, found near south Yantlett Creek, Gillingham
Summary
A Roman jar was found on salt marsh near South Yantlett Creek in July 1961. It was identified as a late 1st century AD narrow-mouthed jar in grey ware. It was found complete except for part of the rim. Now thought to be in store at Maidstone Museum.
