House. Probably C18. Timber framed. Ground floor rendered. Exposed framing with painted brick infilling to first floor. Left addition painted brick. Plain tile roof. 2 timber-framed bays, with later addition to left. 2 storeys. Broadly-spaced studding to first floor, with concave 'arch' brace to left end. Brick ridge stack to right end of left timber-framed bay. Hipped roof, with gablet to right. Irregular fenestration of 3 two-light casements; one to left addition, one to left of stack and one to right. Three small two-light ground- floor casements, that to left with segmental head. Ribbed door in gabled brick porch with plain tile roof just to right of stack. Rear lean-to. Lean-to to right with weatherboarded gable and plain tile roof. Interior: re-used timber from an early C16 or earlier house. Axial beam and unchamfered joists to left ground-floor room. Axial beam to right ground-floor room has remains of end-of-hall moulding to front side, morticed soffit, and broad, contemporary joists to rear side. Gunstock-jowled posts and arch-braced tie-beams. Brick fireplace with bressumer to each room.
