House row. Oak Cottage probably of C17 or early C18 origin, with C19 alterations, largely restored in early C20. Nos. 1 and 2 Old Cottage mid-to-late C18 with some C19 fenestration. Oak Cottage: ground floor red and grey brick in English bond, first floor tile-hung. Plain tile roof. Two storeys. Coursed stone plinth with chamfered brick top course. Continuous jetty. Left gable end brick, corbelled out to jetty. Red brick gable-end stacks. Irregular fenestration of 3 windows; two sixteen-pane sashes and small central two-light casement. Two three-light casements to ground floor. Central ribbed door with segmental head. Rear lean-to. Interior: joists largely replaced, in similar scantling to original. Central staircase. C19 fireplace surround and grate. Nos. 1 and 2 Old Cottages: house pair, to right of Oak Cottage. Red and grey brick, largely in Flemish bond. Plain tile roof. 2 storeys. Moulded wooden eaves cornice. Gabled, with gable-end stacks. Irregular fenestration of 2 sashes; one twelve-pane to left and one four-pane to right. Two four-pane ground-floor sashes with segmental heads. Central pair of doors, each of four sunk panels, under overall segmental head; to No. 2 to left and No. 1 to right. Interior not inspected.
