TR 24 SW ACRISE 5/16 Whitegate House (formerly listed 29.2.66 as White Gates)

House. Late C18 or early C19. Red and grey brick in Flemish bond. Left gable end tile-hung, probably over brick. Plain tile roof. Double depth. 2 storeys. Dentilled brick eaves cornice. Shallow-pitched hipped roof, right hip returning to rear. Rear stack to left. Stack in rear slope of roof towards right end. Regular 5-window front of twelve-pane sashes in open boxes. Segmental heads to ground-floor windows. Central door with one sunk moulded panel and latticed top light. Porch with fluted Doric columns and pilasters, plain frieze with pair of triglyphs and guttae to each corner, and flat corniced roof. Two-storey L-plan rear addition. Interior not inspected.
