Barn, now 4 houses. C18, re-using a medieval frame. Later C18 addition. Converted in 1980s. Timber framed, formerly weathboarded, now with rendered unfilling. Plain tile roof. 8 timber framed bays, added front and rear; 4.5 bays of a medieval frame, probably re-erected in C18. South truss partly re-placed and a further 3 timber-framed bays added to south later in C18. 1½ storeys on brick plinth hipped roof. An assortment of skylights. Approximately 10 windows. 4 doors;2 towards centre, one towards each end. 2 rear porches rising from aisle wall, one gabled, one with jettied canopy on brackets. Interior: 5 north trusses with gun stock-jowled arcade posts of heavy scantling, morticed for passing shores and for arch-braces, but truncated towards bases. Tie-beams not morticed for corresponding braces aisles now with straight braces from aisle-ties to arcade posts. Face-halved scarf-joint to arcade plate. Scribed carpenter's marks to arcade posts, but chiseled marks to backs of same posts, to arcade plates, and to arcade braces. Posts of south (sixth) truss replaced, but braces marked in sequence with trusses to north; viz 1 onwards, south to north. Arcade posts of 3 south bays of smaller scantling, with cut jowls. Common raffer roof with clasped purlins and ridge-piece throughout.
