Summary

Grade II* listed building. Main construction periods 1067 to 1899. Late 11th or C12th century with 13th and 14th century alterations, restored in the late 19th century. Plan of West tower, nave, south porch, chancel, north vestry, north aisle.There is strong evidence that Saltwood was a minster created in a second wave of minster creation in Kent from the 8th to mid-10th centuries.
