The following text is from the original listed building designation:
1. 5282 QUINTON ROAD (North West Side) MILTON REGIS Quinton Farmhouse TQ 86 NE 6/61 II 2. An Cl8 front to a mediaeval timber-framed house reputed to date from the Cl3. 2 storeys faced with red brick. 3 sashes with glazing bars intact. Steeply pitched nipped tiled roof sloping to ground floor at rear.

A built heritage assessment of the site carried out in 2013 in advance of proposed development described the building as a 13th century farmhouse with a later 18th century façade. The façade is red brick, with weatherboarding on the upper half of the gable end. Later extensions and a garage are present at the rear of the building, and the second range is set at an acute angle at the front. (summarised from the report, 2)
