Public House. Early C16. Timber framed and plastered, and part underbuilt with painted brick. Plain tiled roof. Wealden hall house plan of 4 framed bays. Two storeys, with jetties to right and underbuilt to left. Flying wall plate over central bays on curved braces and brackets. Hipped roof with gablets and stacks to end left, to rear right and end right. Four wooden casements on first floor, 3 on ground floor and boarded door to centre left with flat hood. Interior: dragon beams; crown post roof.
