Monument record TQ 93 SE 10 - Windmill (remains of)
Summary
Post mill at Appledore. The remains of the brick round house are not readily visible but still in existence within a corrugated iron shed on Mill Farm. All except the round house was demolished in 1900. The iron windshaft was saved by G. Jarvis and erected in his garden near Bethersden for use as a crane. It still stands there, in the possession of his son.
