Summary

Grade II listed building. Main construction periods 1400 to 1499 Brick and rendered house hiding timber framed hall house which originated as an end jettied `double Wealden'. the two bay hall has a lower end moulded beam and the service bay has a kitchen passage. Built late 15th century, hall and attic floored, building refenestrated and the masonry chimney inserted between 1620-30. Two storeys with hipped tiled roof. The roof was completely rebuilt when the building was modernised in the 19th century.

Hall house. C15. Timber framed and clad with red brick and plaster with plain tiled roof. Two storeys and hipped roof with projecting stacks to left and right and central stack. Five wood casements on first floor, 4 on ground floor, and board door to centre with flat hood, and board door to right. Interior: Some original mullioned windows survive to rear. Dragon beams and posts indicate return jettied ends, and remains of central recessed and coved hall. Stack and ceilings added C17.
