House. Early C18 and mid C19. Red and blue chequered brick extended with red brick. Plain tiled roofs. C18 house backed and extended by C19 wings. Main facade: 2 storeys and attic on plinth with moulded eaves cornice and moulded cast iron guttering to swept hip roof. Two hipped dormers and stacks to rear left and right. Regular fenestration of 5 glazing bar sashes on each floor with moulded surrounds and gauged heads. Two storey C19 canted bay window to left, with moulded cornice to hipped roof, stack to right. Joined to main range by recessed window bay. Glazing bar sashes. Entry by 6 panelled door in right return with flat hood on pilasters. C19 entry front on left return: 2 storeys on plinth with plat band and 3 projecting sections, the centre rendered with large scrolled sides. Four sash windows on first floor, tripartite and glazing bar sash on ground floor. Central half-glazed door in segmental opening, inscribed over door: "May Health and Happiness attend the Coming and the Parting Friend." Interior: all altered in C19. Kitchen with crown post and inscribed on tie beam: waste not want not. Deed dated 1712 survives, the C18 range built not long after.
