Former Wealden hall-house, now house. C16 and extended C18. Timber framed and clad with red brick, and structural red brick with plain tiled roofs. Two storeys and basement on plinth with brick dentil cornice to hipped roof with stacks to rear centre and left, and projecting stacks at end left and end right. Irregular fenestration of 1 staircase sash rising through 2 storeys 2 glazing bar sashes and 1 tripartite sash on first floor, 1 glazing bar sash and tripartite sash on ground floor. Door of 6 raised and fielded panels and rectangular fanlight to left with flat hood on large consoles. Two storeyed extension to left with 1 glazing bar sash on each floor. Interior: rear (south) wing a Wealden with moulded crown post roofs, painted tie beam, C17 brick fireplaces, and moulded doors and doorways. (See: Country Life October 17th, 1952, 1192-3).
