2. One building. C17, altered and refaced Cl9. 2 storeys and attic. 5 windows. 3 hipped dormers. Stuccoed. Heavy eaves bracket cornice. Tiled roof. Glazing bars missing. The ground floor has 2 C20 plate glass shop fronts flanked by rusticated pilasters. Carriage entrance at north end.
All the listed buildings in The Market Place form a group. Also Nos 1 ant 2, 4 to 7 (consec) and No 7A form a group with Nos 1 to 11 (oonsec) and llA Court Street.
