Grade II* listed building. Main construction periods 1824 to 1830 Summary from record TQ 97 NW 1014: Sheerness Docks sheds 23A & 23B (formerly listed as Archway Block). Building 23 was designed by William Miller in 1825 to contain sawpits, timber seasoning store, a mould loft and mould store. A long brick building with internal cast-iron framing, it comprises a row of five two-storey and attic blocks seperated by recessed stair bays.
