The following text is from the original listed building designation:
THROWLEY THROWLEY TQ 95 SE ROAD (west side) 6/186 Barn approx. 40 metres south of Parklane Farmhouse with enclosing farm- yard walls GV II Barn and walls. Barn C18. Timber framed on brick base, weather boarded with corrugated asbestos roof. Half-hipped roof with cart doors to rear. Wall C17 and C18 of flint and red brick, some lower sections in English bond. Varying in height from 3 feet to 7 feet, enclosing area approximately 20 yards east-west by 30 yards north-south and adjacent to barn. Included for group value with Parklane Farmhouse.
