2. C15 timber-framed building refronted in Cl8 but retaining the overhang of the 2nd floor on bressumers. Painted brick. Parapet. Tiled roofs. 2-storeys. 2 windows. Modern shop fronts. No 2 has sash windows above the ground floor (small bay on the 1st floor), No 3 casement windows.
Nos 1 to 11 (consec) and 11A form a group with Nos 4 to 7 (consec) and No 7A The Market Place.
