Summary
A quantity of flint working waste identified as the unknown type 'hollow based points' were found near the Warren to the north of Ashford in 1933. The finds have been identified as representative of a surface flint industry site. The exact location of these finds is now unknown and they are not held at Maidstone Museum. The site lies on a prominent ridge but nothing more about the discovery is known.

Full Description
[Centre: TQ 9958 4427] A surface flint industry site. Hollow based points were found here in 1933 (1).
This site falls in an old wood dense with secondary growth and nothing could be seen. The general area lies on the false crest of a prominent ridge. None of the flints found are held at Maidstone Museum and no further information was gained there (2).
