Full Description

The following text is from the original listed building designation:
LONDON ROAD 1. ----------- 1103 Ospringe Place. TR 0060 11/167 29.7.50. II
2. Square late C18 house. [1799 by Charles Beazley]. 2 storeys. White brick. Glazing bars intact. The entrance front facing north has 3 windows. Cornice and balustraded parapet. The centre window bay is stuccoed. Wide porch with twin fluted Doric columns, triglyph frieze and projecting cornice; the window above this on the 1st floor is flanked by twin Doric pilasters. The east and west fronts have 5 windows each. Projecting centre portion of 3 windows with wide eaves bracket cornice and pediment. The side portions have a cornice and balustraded parapet as on the north front, and their ground floor windows are in round-headed arches with semi-circular tympana. In the centre of the roof is a round glass lantern which lights the staircase. A brick and Weather- boarded cottage at the south end with round-headed sash windows on ground floor with radiating glazing pattern.
