5/3 George Inn 24.1.67 GV II
Public House. C17. Timber framed and exposed with plaster infill, and clad with weather board on ground floor, with plain tiled roof. Two storeys and garret with jettied first floor on dragon posts and brackets carved with strapwork and satyr figures, and jettied eaves on carved consoles, with modillion eaves cornice to hipped roof with stack to left. Two wood mullioned oriel windows on each floor, and half-glazed doors to left and right. Right return front: flint plinth and cross-mullioned oriel window on ground floor.
